sound science to risk-based decision-making and advocacy.
Dr. Robert G. Tardiff is one of the founding principals and is
currently serving as CEO and Senior Managing Principal. Previously, Dr.
Tardiff served as Chief of the Toxicological Assessment Branch of the
U.S. EPA, and as Executive Director of the National Academy of
Sciences/National Research Council Board on Toxicology and Environmental
Health Hazards.
Cofounder, Richard P. Hubner, M.P.H., President of The Sapphire
Group, provides complementary expertise as a public health and
occupational health professional, giving The Sapphire Group a solid
foundation of services for their clients. Mr. Hubner's background
comprises considerable knowledge in health assessment and exposure
analysis, industrial hygiene, and science advocacy.
Essential to the enterprise's success is its global presence.
Heading up the European operation, John Fawell has led numerous
toxicological research programs on drinking water contaminants and acts
as technical advisor to a European science team developing environmental
standards. Additionally, Mr. Fawell is actively involved with key
entities of the European Union and vital institutions such as the World
Health Organization.
